Northeastern Nonwovens, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Sean Morin as the new Director of Sales and Marketing. Sean brings with him nearly 15 years of experience in the sales, new product development, and R & D in the nonwoven industry. He has extensive experience in a wide variety of nonwoven market applications, specializing in commercializing new projects. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from The University of Massachusetts and an M.B.A. from the Lawrence Technological University.

NNI is pleased to announce that it has received ISO 9001 certification, validating the company’s efforts to utilize rigorous quality procedures when manufacturing its most technical products.  This certification will allow NNI to accelerate development of highly-engineered industrial nonwovens for demanding OEM applications where this certification is required.

NNI is pleased to announce the consolidation of production in Rochester, NH.  With the move successfully completed, the company has the entirety of its production, finishing, technical and management resources at a single location, improving the its ability to coordinate delivery of the entirety of its capabilities to its customers .

NNI is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Spaulding Composites, a leading manufacturer of engineered thermoset composite laminates.  Spaulding Composites has common ownership with NNI, as both companies are owned by Metapoint Partners.  This partnership with allow NNI to deliver expanded technical capabilities, particularly in the areas of chemically saturated materials and composites to its current and prospective customers.

NNI is pleased to announce the opening of its new 65,000 square foot facility in Rochester, NH.  With the opening of this new modern facility, with significant room to grow, the company has achieved another milestone in its rebirth as a leader in the development and production of highly-engineered, technical nonwovens.

(“NNI”) and its acquisition of the assets and businesses of Knowlton Nonwovens Troy, LLC and Knowlton Nonwovens Utica, Inc. of Utica, NY.  The company is a leading manufacturer of industrial nonwovens used for liquid and gas filtration applications as well as vinyl substrates for vehicular applications.
